- Aktiebolaget Labor bildas 1901 i ett led att hantera bostadsbristen och inrättade ett arbetarhotell med ca 80 bäddar. Man drev natthärbärge/ungkarlshotell till 1920 då Göteborg stad övertog övertog fastigheten och verkamheten.
