Hunting and livestock
Although people started to keep domestic animals and cultivate the land they still found hunting and fishing important. At this site bones were recovered from both domestic and wild animals. The domestic ones were Cows, sheep, pigs and dogs. The animals they hunted were fish, seals and seabirds, and even a whale. Some animals were probably hunted for the sake of their skins: wild cat, marten, fox, lynx and bear.
